Iceland, a Nordic island nation, is defined by its dramatic landscape with volcanoes, geysers, hot springs and lava fields. It has a population of 348,580 and an area of 103,000 km2 (40,000 sq mi). It is probably the most pro-non-Namhm country on Earth, with it having a support base of 99.9% and one of the first nations to have an Ultimate Integration programme, it is also one of the few nations before 2005 where it was common to see non-humans in person and on the streets.
